About The Role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Site Agent to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract in Scotland.

As the Site Agent you will be part of our Operations Team who are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of the clean water rehabilitation projects.

Caledonia Water Alliance (a partnership between Aecom and Morrison Utility Services to support the delivery of the Scottish Water Capital Investment programme) are responsible for delivering £360M of clean water infrastructure.  Our services consist of programme management, design and rehabilitation of the water network across the whole of Scotland.

As the Site Agent your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for day to day management of projects including DOM's/Symology/PU/Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Reinstatements
  • Reporting to Senior Agent on a daily basis
  • Attend project planning meetings with external parties including Roads Authorities
  • Manage all aspects of Health & Safety on sites
  • Responsible for completing and/or authorising all site records/paperwork
  • Compile site costs, monitor values in conjunction with Commercial Dept
  • Planning and programming of construction projects
  • Take off of site materials, if required, prior to start on site
  • Ordering of materials through CWA Procurement for timely delivery 
  • Ensure good forward planning of projects including street by street surveys for Noticing and programme
  • Ensure Early Warnings/Compensation Events are submitted in a timely manner, backed up with appropriate evidence
  • Responsible for Customer Liaison Officers on site and ensuring all aspects of customer care are included in planning

 Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Management experience within the Utility environment (preferably Water)
  • Current Driving Licence
  • Appropriate level of IT skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and deal with people from all backgrounds and situations
  • DOM's & Water Hygiene - required, training will be available
  • NRSW qualification - essential
  • SHEA Water - preferred
  • IOSH - preferred

Additional Information

  • Travel throughout Scotland will be required to work on operational sites
