About The Role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a SHEQ Advisor to work on our HS2 contract in North Acton, London.

As the SHEQ Advisor you will be part of our HS2 Team who are responsible for planning, design, coordination and construction of multi-utility Diversion Projects.

Morrison Water Services are working with HS2 and their Tier 1 Joint Venture Partners to carry out major utility diversion and enabling works as part of the prestigious HS2 project. 

As the SHEQ Advisor your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Daily Audit and Inspection of Sites
  • Development of and authorising RAMS
  • Undertaking Environmental and Quality Checks in the office and on sites
  • Preparation of Temporary Works Design appraisals
  • Attendance and participation in Client/MUS SHEQ Workshops
  • Sub-contract and Supplier evaluations
  • Engaging the workforce and staff in a training and support capacity
  • Incident Investigation and reporting
  • Developing and ensuring Tool-box talks and Safety Notifications are delivered in an effective manner

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Health & Safety experience, ideally gained within a utilities contracting environment 
  • NEBOSH Construction on General Certificate (or working towards)
  • SMSTS and CSCS
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage at all levels 
  • First Aider
  • Full Driving Licence
