Where will you be working?

Dyer & Butler

This role will be in within the Aviation team, our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a solid understanding of the Aviation market, that will have a key role in Dyer & Butler's future pipeline of work.

You will play a significant role in the development of strategy, being the voice of the customer, and helping us to continually innovate and improve.

What will you be doing?

• Generating new business and relationships through targeted prospecting, industry events, and strategic engagement within the Aviation sector
• Setting strategic goals, liaising with business partners and stakeholders, identity new business opportunities
• Keep up to date with market trends within the Aviation sector
• Work with the bid team with the initial stages of the bid process

What you’ll bring

• Business Development experience and knowledge having worked directly in the Aviation Sector
• Excellent relationship building experience with clients, stakeholders, and partners with strong negotiating and report building skills
• Proven track record in sales achievement and pipeline development
• Commercial acumen with ability to maximise margin and understand commercial sensitivities within project or deal
• A full Driving Licence
