Morrison Energy Services is currently looking to recruit a Field Based Technical Auditor to work within our EON Contract in the SEEBOARD area.
As the Technical Auditor you will be part of our Health, Safety & Compliance department, responsible for the safety & quality assurance auditing and analysis, assisting with accident/incident investigations, maintaining technical standards and technical activity process development.
As the Technical Auditor, your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Carrying out quality checks and audits to ensure operational compliance
- Reporting on the above in an appropriate manner and approved format.
- Assisting meter workers through coaching and mentoring as part of WIP audit process
- Providing a point of technical advice to Technical Operations
- Delivering technical updates as required
- Providing an internal competency assessment service
- Supporting external audit activities such as MAMCOP/MOCOPA/BSI/NICEIC/Gas Safe
- Participating as and when required in training forums to ensure all training material is updated and training is consistent across the company.
- Assist in carrying out accident/incident investigation & reporting on same
- Assessing of and reporting on new products/equipment or techniques relevant to the business
- Assisting with resolution of complex problems/jobs when required (within sphere of own technical competence)
- Ensuring industry competence development as required by head of department
- Ensuring continuing personal professional development keeping abreast of industry and legislative changes
- Maintaining personal competence; authorisations & accreditations
- Other duties may be undertaken as and when required
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Sufficient experience as meter worker
- Strong knowledge of gas and/or electric meter installation processes
- Strong and effective interpersonal skills are also an essential requirement for this position.
- Capability to coach and mentor individual meter workers to improve their own knowledge and standards.
