Morrison Water Service are currently looking to recruit Meter Fitters/Plumber to work on our WSP Yorkshire Water Contract in the Yorkshire Region.

As a Meter Fitters/Plumber, you will be part of our Metering and Customer Related Department who are responsible for installation/repair and replacements on the Yorkshire Water Network.

Morrison Water Services have been working as a service partner to Yorkshire Water continually since 1998, we have been successful in in the renewal and have a further 4 to 8 years as working as a partner

As the Meter Fitter/Plumber your duties & responsibilities will be:

• Ensure all related activities/works are undertaken safely, in line with MWS procedures and industry best practice.
• Complete and follow comprehensive and detailed risk assessments.
• Demonstrate an excellent level of customer engagement/service
• Defect/damage reporting
• Maintain a clean and safe work site, vehicle and tooling
• Adhere to any relevant policies and procedures
• Escalates issues

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Do you have experience in the plumbing industry? 

Do you have a recognized NVQ level 1/2 plumbing qualification?

Do you hold a current driving license? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.

Do you have excellent customer service and effective communication skills?

Additional Information

• You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated using hand tools.
• You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground. 
• You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
