About The Role

Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a Quality and Environmental Manager to work within the Central SHEQ Team

As the Quality and Environmental Manager you will be part of our fantastic Divisional SHEQ Team, who are responsible for the monitoring and measuring of compliance with our management systems.

 As the Quality and Environmental Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising the contract management team on all aspects of the quality and environmental requirements, to meet Client expectations and contract requirements
  • Monitoring and communicating Environmental legislation changes and other applicable changes.
  • Ensuring all Contracts maintain a certified Environmental Management system complying with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001
  • Providing and facilitating the reporting of Environmental and Quality performance across contracts
  • Ensuring each Contract has a system in place to monitor carbon emissions
  • Ensuring each contract has established, implemented and maintained a Carbon Reduction Plan
  • Manage various external and internal audit processes
  • Carry Out or Support Investigations / Incident Management, as required
  • Providing Tender support when required

 Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems
  • Understanding of ISO 45001
  • Accredited Environmental Management Qualification e.g. IEMA Associate level and / or working towards / CQI Membership, etc
  • Lead Auditor Qualification for ISO9001(or equivalent, e.g. 14001, 45001)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Construction / Utilities Industry
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Good basic IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Good verbal communication and report writing skills
  • Good presentation skills

Additional Information

  • Will be required to undertake work activities outside of normal working hours and shall require travel across UK, which will include overnight stays
  • Full UK Driving Licence
