So what’s involved?
As an experienced ICA technician, you'll be responsible for the delivery of preventative maintenance of electrical systems, controls and instrumentation, attending to any reactive/correct maintenance, fault finding, completing any repairs/replacements/calibration to instrumentation, installation of new systems/equipment, commissioning, all in accordance with BS7671 18th Edition
Key Responsibilities
- To be an integral part of a dedicated team of Technicians delivering set to work activities, optimisation, reactive maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Delivery of quality support using your expertise and experience in your electrical engineering discipline.
- Ability to conduct, prioritise and carry out works to the satisfaction of the Installation and Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance supervisor.
- Conform and always adhere to current ISO, H&S systems, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Atmosphere and confined Space procedures, ATEX/DSEAR, LOLER, PUWER and company policies.
- Delivery of cost-effective improvements to regulatory assets and systems.
- A willingness to undertake such training as is required to ensure continued improvement of technical skills and Health and Safety awareness remains extant.
- Comply with all business rules relating to delivery of and feedback regarding all maintenance activity.
What do we need from you?
- Proven experience in the water industry
- Successful completion of ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ or C&G Level 3 Electrical
- 18th Edition
- You will be required to work on-call on a rota basis
- Valid UK driving license
