Morrison Water Services is recruiting for an Utilities Support Manager to support our HS2 multi utilities diversion contract from our Coleshill Project Office in the Midlands.

HS2 is a state-of-the-art, high-speed line critical for the UK’s low-carbon transport future. It will provide much needed rail capacity across the country and is integral to rail projects in the North and Midlands. This all helps to re-balance the UK economy. Our works are performed on behalf of Tier 1 Joint Venture organisations across the prestigious HS2 Phase 1 project from London to Birmingham.

As an experienced Utilities Support Manager, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in developing and implementing reports, processes, procedures, and policies. You will be required to actively discover new ways to increase and improve quality and efficiencies.

As a Utilities Support Manager you will need to plan, manage, coordinate, administrative and document control procedures and systems. Develop and implement ways to streamline and improve processes, assess, develop and collate business / delivery performance reports. Support  the smooth flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations. Manage schedules and deadlines as required. 

Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints. Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.  All required data, records, forms etc. are recorded and submitted accurately and by the appropriate deadlines. Be aware of organisational changes and business developments.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
 
Do you have a proven track record in utilities administration management roles or utilities performance management roles?
 
Are you familiar with financial and facilities management principles?

Do you have an analytical mind with problem-solving skills with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities?
 
Ability to competently utilise administrative and document control software
 
Knowledge of ProjectWise and Business Collaborator is preferred but not essential
 
Good understanding of document control
